Join our Motorsport Club

MX5 Racing WA Inc. is open for business.  The business of running affordable motorsport competitions for our members. No funds are spent on social events or on non-members.  Event fees are set to be cost neutral. Add up all the outgoings for an event and divide by the number of entrants gives the fee.   Tasks required to run safe, efficient and fun events will be done by our members.  Every competitor will have a small job. You will all be a part of the crew.  You will be an integral part of our club and save yourselves a stack of money.   No previous experience required.

Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st.  The annual membership fee is $50.

  13. Optimum track time, getting more time on the track than you would at like events.

5 Reasons NOT to join MX5 Racing.

 

  1. If you are not going to compete in motorsport or be an official this club is not for you.

  2. If you are not prepared to learn and improve, this club is not for you.

  3. If you can't act responsibly, be kind and helpful, this club is not for you.

  4. This is a club. You are required to contribute. We are not a service organisation.  

  5. If you don't intend to enjoy yourself, then this club is not for you.

Your application will be assessed at the next committee meeting normally held on the first Tuesday of the month.

The Joining Process

  1.  Click on the green 'APPLY TO JOIN' button above.

  2.  Fill in the Jotform and click 'SUBMIT' when completed.

  3.  Your application will automatically be put on the agenda of the next committee meeting.  Nominally held on the evening of the first Tuesday of every month.

  4.  The committee will consult with the member who is nominating you if we don't know you.

  5.  If you are unknown to any committee member then a committee member will be in touch prior to the committee meeting.  

  6.  Your membership will be considered at the committee meeting and either approved or declined.

  7.  If approved you will be sent an email with banking details where to pay the fee stated.   The  membership fee is $50 for the current calendar year.  If joining late in the year we reduce the fee.

  8.   Once the funds appear in the club account we will send you a welcome email

 

Note:-   Being a club member is required to compete in any event.  A single day membership is available for $15, however, under our constitution preference must be given to existing club members.  In most cases all spots will be taken by members.
