16 Grogan Road, Perth Airport is a purpose built driver training facility centrally located in the Perth Metropolitan Area.  The venue has been run by several operators over many years.  In the previous incarnation was known as the RAC Driving Centre.

DRM, the current operators, can provide the complete range of driver training in all sectors.

The site has building infrastructure to meet any training need imaginable but it is the tarmac shown here in the background that we come for.  This is 'Skid Pan 1'.  It is a flat asphalt surface (30m x 180m) rolled so that it has about the same grip, when dry, as a medium aggregate public bitumen road has when wet.  This is an ideal surface to learn how you and your car behave on the edge of grip and beyond.
